Heat Protection

What an important thing! And completely over looked!

Where most of you are, you NEED a heat protector for your hair when you use styling tools such as blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron. Though if you live here in Arizona or in other very sunny places, you need a heat protection even from the good ol' sun!

Apply the heat protector to slightly damp hair just before blow drying. When you are using a flat iron or curling iron the product is usually a spray, so spray lightly before using the tool. As a side note, most spray heat protectors are oil based so be careful not to OVER spray ;).

If the products is more starchy you don't have to worry as much, however, I don't personally like them, I definitely like the oil based sprays better. They tend to leave the hair soft and shiny. No fun when you can't run your hands through your hair!
